Before you take part in the grape-picking contest at Monsoon Valley Harvest Festival 2019, I’d like to share with you a few tricks that you can keep up your sleeve at Monsoon Valley Vineyard. Ready? Here we go…
.
1. LOOK at the appearance of each grape to make sure that you pick the right variety. For example, if you’re picking Shiraz you should always try to pick the deepest colour.
.
2. FEEL the texture of the grape. Each one should be mature, plump, thick and full of juice. It must not, under any circumstances, show any signs of shrivelling.
.
3. TASTE each varietal for its own unique flavour. This will help you to navigate the taste landscape to find your own heavenly place between sweetness and tartness.
.
Don’t forget to put your new know-how to good use at Monsoon Valley Harvest Festival 2019’s grape-picking contest. Make your reservation here for only THB 380: http://bit.ly/2R9NVqE
Vineyard open daily: 9am – 8pm
